When I was young I never would have guess that you can make less money as a pilot than an artist. And yet now, years later, I am discovering that is exactly the case. Bwahahahaha!
But that's okay, because flying is awesome. I flew my ass off all weekend, and it was Good, though now all I want to do is just sprawl in my chair and eat chocolate hearts. Unsurprisingly, sightseers are proving the most fun to fly. They get excited, they ask questions, they take pictures, film the flight, ask you to fly over their house, etc, and it's great because you just sit there and fly the airplane and generally be The Pilot.
One young woman remarked that she didn't know that small planes landed that smoothly. I decided to take that as a compliment XD.

| Account Hack |
[09 Nov 2008|05:14am] |
This is just an immediate warning to all of my friends- I can't think of another way to get hold of everyone, since I'm having some major problems at my end and don't quite trust email.
I've thought something was funny for a while now, but a couple friends (thanks atta!) of mine have noticed odd activities going on with my account tonight and they brought it to my attention about twenty minutes ago: it appears that it has been HACKED. Please, please, please, if you get any odd emails from me - I suspect from my old paradox.at.eagle.ca email account, which I haven't used in almost two years now - THROW THEM AWAY. NE TOUCHE PAS, don't open them! Someone has hacked my account with my server AND my old email account and has apparently been rifling through the email addresses I had stored there and causing all kinds of trouble. I suspect it's someone here in the area, but I can't be sure.
I also suspect someone got into the email address first, since I had all my old server info kept there from like, eight years ago. Important lesson learned: always erase old emails with that kind of sensitive information in them, just in case.
I've no idea how long this has been going on for, but I'm really, really hoping it hasn't been for very long, and that no one has come to undue harm. I'm very upset and angry, and I promise I'm trying to get to the bottom of it now. I'm really sorry if anyone's been given a good deal of grief. I apologise profusely, and I'll try to get it straightened out as soon as I can, even if it means switching to a new account with fresh new securities, passwords, whatever it takes. Agh, jesus christ, and I was in such a good mood after passing my exam too.
EDIT: Okay, thank you Em and David too XD.

Kind of a short excerpt, but I've only got about six more chapters to go. I've missed writing this!

There are Young Ones episodes up at YouTube. I know what I'll be watching at work today!
"Bad for SOCIETY when the kids start getting into it!"
EDIT: I've found Demolition, Oil, Nasty and Sick, but if I can find the rest of the Bambi ep my day will be complete.

Oh shit man, Cil tagged me with this like a week ago. WHOOPSIEDOODLE.
Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits/little-known facts about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird habits/things/little-known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 10 people to be tagged and list their names. No tagbacks.

Man, I'd love to start this shit at the studio one day. I love the janitor, the guy imitating a shotgun and the dude on the cellphone.
(I stumbled across this while trying to figure out just what the footage of the crazy BAH BAH! lady was for. YTMND.com has been having a field day with her lately.)

 | You scored as Indiana Jones. Indiana Jones is an archaeologist/adventurer with an unquenchable love for danger and excitement. He travels the globe in search of historical relics. He loves travel, excitement, and a good archaeological discovery. He hates Nazis and snakes, perhaps to the same degree. He always brings along his trusty whip and fedora. He's tough, cool, and dedicated. He relies on both brains and brawn to get him out of trouble and into it.

I'm not one to dash out and buy a new console at the drop of a hat, but I think I might break tradition and pick up a GameCube solely to play The Twilight Princess. The only thing I'm stumped on is... there's gonna be a GC and a Wii version, right? What's the difference between the two?

Morrowind Dancing Imperial Guards. I love how the second guard seems to watch the first for a moment before joining in. What in god's green motherfucker...? XD
I made some noise on GJ about getting Oblivion a few months ago- and while verily, it does rock, I've still gotta say that overall, I like Morrowind a lot better. Oblivion is balls-out gorgeous and a lot of the guild and random quests are wicked fun but, storywise and gameplay-wise, it really does feel dumbed down. I miss all of the lore and gritty hostility of Morrowind. I DON'T miss the cliff racers, though.
